Ross Lawrence

Owner & President, Financial Advisor

Ross Lawrence is the Owner and President of White Ember, a comprehensive financial planning firm with Cetera Advisor Networks. Ross was previously recognized by LPL Financial as one of their top Financial Advisors, based on his designation as a member of LPL’s Patriot’s Club. Ross was the #1 financial advisor in the country under the age of 30 at LPL in 2016*, and was previously selected by Dave Ramsey to receive the title of SmartVestor Pro. Because of Ross’ drive to help people and his forward thinking in the industry he was on the cover of Financial Planning Magazine in March of 2016, he has been featured as a panelist for Investment News, and he was given an “Epic” alumni spotlight from his alma mater, the University of Arkansas: Walton College of Business.

In the fall of 2008 as stock markets crashed and tens of thousands of financial advisors left the industry Ross was an intern at Merrill Lynch while finishing his degree in Finance with an emphasis on Financial Management and Investment. Ross saw clients coming into the office in tears as they watched their life savings disappear. However, he also saw great advisors helping them through the devastating times. Witnessing those interactions convinced him that it was his calling to be a Financial Advisor to help people through life’s ups and downs.

He is an alumnus of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and is a proud Eagle Scout. Ross currently is on the Board of United Way of Vernon County, Ducks Unlimited, the Vernon County Chamber of Commerce Board, and is a past President of Rotary.

When Ross isn’t in the office he likes to spend time perfecting his golf swing, exercising his green thumb in the garden, or simply spending time with his wife Lorien.
